# With Subtitles

### I have an error when I import an SRT to Checksub

If you do have an error message when you try to import your SRT to your project on Checksub it means your SRT doesn't respect the SRT format and it's kind of broken. But don't worry it can be fix.

\
Go on the website: <https://validator.subtitledpro.com/>

Import your file

![](/files/M54b66wdXMjcxDz9LM3F)

or paste the content in the "paste subtitle file content" tab.

<figure><img src="/files/StkXLUXarGPa5Ri4zdXk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

you should have an error, click on the "1 error(s)" button

<figure><img src="/files/CeHxbalN6SSHJHoD22GZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/gipkQM6G4bOMo6dTtOFm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

So edit your file in your editor, save it and import it to Checksub.

Now your SRT should be ready.
